BUSINESS B. R. LINES ANNOUNCEMENT of SALE of the business.

After 43 years being involved with the brand of Graham Farish, I have decided it is time to retire. Not before time too my wife Margaret says.

I have sold the business as a going concern to Lee Palmer of L.P. Rails and Repairs Ltd, having known Lee for 25 years. Four years ago he took on the repair side of the business. He has been successful following in my footsteps and doing a great job as I knew he would.

As you are reading this, the transfer will hopefully have been completed and he will take over the sales of spares as well of course, the servicing of locos etc.

I would like to wish Lee and his wife Jane every success with this new venture. They are eager to get cracking with it and determined to keep the standard and service at the top of their agenda. In addition he offers a chip and sound card fitting service which of course I have never done.

I would like to mention all the support, advice and assistance I have had from publications and Model Clubs where we travelled around the country at their rail exhibitions selling items to members and the public for their hobby. Bachmann have been excellent over the years and have accepted my retirement and transfer of the business to L.P.Rails for those of you who require spares and repairs and can continue with their support from Lee.

Customers have been loyal over the many years I have had this business, and fully supported me and many have become good friends. May I wish you all good health and happiness in the future and hope you will continue to support Lee in his endeavours to help maintain the respected Farish name and service.

The Farish Spares website will be operated in the same manner as before my retirement with the exception of you paying LP Rails through the website instead of BR Lines.

Thank you all for supporting me and making my job a happy and satisfying one.
